The end of your school days is approaching and you have something to celebrate. It may be a long standing school tradition, or something that is unique to your class, but the time has arrived.
Hey Seniors… You’re about to graduate High School… What are you going to do next?
We’re going to Walt Disney World!
Maybe it is your very first time, or your one hundredth time, but you cannot go wrong with a trip to Walt Disney World. Disney is known for their celebrations and they know how to make everyone feel like a kid again. This year the Magic Kingdom will complete their multi-million dollar renovation of the NEW Fantasyland as they open Snow White’s Mine Train. You can visit your favorite royal in Princess Fairytale Hall or go Under the Sea at the Journey of the Little Mermaid. Of course, there are roller coasters in each park including Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Expedition Everest, and the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster. There is plenty for your group to do and Disney even helps you plan your day with Fast Passes and the new My Disney Experience App.
Many groups find it to be an affordable option to stay on the Walt Disney World property at one of the many resorts. Guests staying on property have several advantages, such as the complimentary use of Disney Transportation Best Time To Hike Base Camp Everest throughout their trip, including Disney’s Magical Express for those flying in and out of the Orlando International Airport, Extra Magic Hours, and the New MagicBand option. Your MagicBand enables your groups to travel lighter throughout their vacation. Select groups will use them to enter the parks and unlock their Disney Resort hotel rooms. Plus, MagicBand gives you FastPass+ access to all the experiences selected online, so you can simply concentrate on enjoying the fun with the people you care about.
In the year ahead, the Magic Kingdom will debut the brand new ‘Disney Festival of Fantasy” parade’, which takes the place of the long running Celebrate a Dream Come True parade. This new parade will bring a celebration of New Fantasyland to Main Street, U.S.A., through fantastic and innovative new parade floats, vibrant costumes and an original soundtrack that will feature beloved songs from favorite Disney films, plus a parade theme song. The parade will specifically highlight the stories of “The Little Mermaid, “Sleeping Beauty,” “Dumbo,” “Pinocchio,” “Peter Pan,” “Tangled,” and the Disney-Pixar film “Brave” among others. Disney features so much entertainment including classic shows like Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, the Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo the Musical and Dream Along with Mickey. And, such nighttime spectaculars as Fantasmic!, Wishes, and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. There is never a shortage of Pixie Dust when you are visiting Walt Disney World!
If you starting the planning process early, perhaps you can look forward to the next exciting addition to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as they prepare to welcome you to a new land based on “AVATAR.” The area, which being designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in partnership with “AVATAR” creator James Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment will be unlike anything ever experienced at a Disney park. Guests will experience the wonders of Pandora when they fly with banshees and explore a rich natural environment with mountains that float and interactive plans that glow at night. “AVATAR” will add a spectacular new world and an exciting set of attractions unlike any our guest have experienced. The expansion now underway will make Disney’s Animal Kingdom a true full-day, must-see experience.
If you have some extra time during your visit to Orlando, you may choose to spend an evening at the Universal Orlando Resort for Grad Bash and a visit to the NEW Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, featuring Escape from Gringotts, a multi-sensory, multi-dimensional journey that will take theme park attractions to a new level. Or, they may visit Sea World for an upclose look at Shamu, or Busch Gardens in Tampa to experience Falcon’s Fury, their newest thrill ride that lets you soar and dive like a bird of prey. Or, if you just want to take it easy for a day your Senior Class can visit one of our nearby beaches. One thing that is clear is that you have earned the right to celebrate your accomplishments and one of the top destinations to do so is in Orlando, Florida. With so many World Class attractions, this is the best place to celebrate and have some fun.
